Therapists
Therapists within our Intensive In-Community Services:
- Have Master’s degrees and are licensed to provide therapy
- Are specially trained to provide therapy and support services that focus on the child’s needs
- Involve the entire family, and are culturally competent
Therapy is planned around the child’s psychosocial, developmental, and treatment care needs. The primary focus is to:
- Restore functioning of the child/youth
- Reduce the need for in-patient hospitalization, movement from the residence
- Preventing the need for out-of-home living arrangements
- Transition child/youth from an intensive treatment setting back to his/her community
