Therapists

Therapists within our Intensive In-Community Services:

  • Have Master’s degrees and are licensed to provide therapy
  • Are specially trained to provide therapy and support services that focus on the child’s needs
  • Involve the entire family, and are culturally competent

Therapy is planned around the child’s psychosocial, developmental, and treatment care needs. The primary focus is to:

  • Restore functioning of the child/youth
  • Reduce the need for in-patient hospitalization, movement from the residence
  • Preventing the need for out-of-home living arrangements
  • Transition child/youth from an intensive treatment setting back to his/her community
